Ashanti Shequoiya, better called Ashanti is an extremely popular American singer and actress. Ashanti is an United States singer, songwriter, and actor. The talent of Ashanti was discovered in her teens. She signed with Murder Inc. Records, in 2002. She appeared in the Fat Joe's What's Luv? song that same year. Ja Rule's song, Always on Time and Fat Joe's What's Luv? When she had Foolish and the track What's Luv at Number One and her first number one hit, she was the only female artist to be featured in two tracks in the Billboard Hot 100 chart top 10 in the United States. It was the first female artist holding both of the top two spots on The Billboard Hot 100 list in the United States, with Foolish at number one and the other being What's Loving? The sample used in her first single Foolish was taken from DeBarge's with Me song from 1983. Ashanti's debut self-titled record was released by Irv Gotti's Murder Inc. on the label in 2002. The Declaration the fourth studio album, was released on 3 June 2008. Hey Baby was released for the radio and online on 16 October 2009. She played Latasha on Army Wives and starred in the film Christmas in the City. Aitch was seen wearing her Rock wit U sample in Baby on the 10th of March in 2022.
